Vaishnavi comes from a family of 4 with an income of Rs. 3000 (less than $75 a month), where father earns as a teacher in a typing school. Her academic background all along the school years has been very bright. The extra-curricular background is equally bright. She has won numerous certificates in competitions, ranging from Sanskrit Sloka Competition to Computer MS Logo to sports. At home, she helps her mother in household chores, and attends to her grand mother taking care of her health needs. She loves singing and reading story books. Vaishnavi wants to be a software engineer when she grows up.
