Sagar, coming from a family of 4 with an income of Rs. 1800 (less than $45 a month), where his father is a small business-owner, had to go for Arts stream since his family could not afford the science books and other costs, although Sagar has an excellent academic background. He scored 78% in the Madhyamik Exam. He won a certicate of merit in Math in 2001. Sagar's hobbies are reading books and playing cricket. He wants to be a teacher when he grows up.
