Profile

 

Facility: Public facility or private free facility,

                        one room with available common rest room,

                        minimal furnishing

 

Students:          High School Gr. IX & X

                        Borderline students are priority (Note 1)

 

Number of Students: 10 min, 20 max (more with special approval)

 

Tuition:             Free

 

Hours:              3 hours with a break, M-F (very light snacks or drinks during break)

 

Holidays:          Usual holidays (6 weeks total in a year)

 

Session:            April through March following year

 

Studentship:      4 years max (Note 2)

 

Curriculum:       Subjects decided by the Administrative body (Note 3)

 

Staff:                At least one Teacher who handles all teaching including administrative functions. Optionally there may be more teachers or separate administrative staff depending on the extent of the subject selection.

 

Requirements

 

Students:          Attendance 80%

 

Staff:                Submit to Lily Office Manager

 

          Monthly Attendance Report, Quarterly Status report, Expense reports, Course details, Exam results

Note 1: Admissible students are those who obtained low passmarks or just below passmarks in the last annual exam. Example: Assuming passmark is 35 out of 100, those who got 30 to 39 marks are admitted.

 

Note 2: Normally Gr. IX and Gr. X students will be admitted. With special approval Gr. XI and Gr. XII may be added.

 

Note 3: Normally English and Math are the only subjects taught. However, upon suggestion from the administrative body special approval may be accorded to teach other subjects.
