Comments:
The inspector conducted a brief visit of Aalo 28, Narendrapur
Primary Coaching Home. He reached the home at 8-35a.m. when the
teacher-in-charge was found standing in the veranda outside the class
room. Only 6 students were present on the day of inspection out of which
5 were girls & 1 boy.The teacher informed
that one girl named Champa Das
has been newly enrolled in the home on the day of visit itself.
Furthermore while checking the register the inspector discovered that
there were 19 names in the rolls although crosses were put against some.
The teacher informed that although the maximum strength of the home is
supposed to be 10 but very often 15 students come to the home for
tutorial support. The office finds this particular issue as a matter of
concern because whatever has happened till date in Aalo
28 is outside the knowledge of the office. Details of dropouts & new
admissions have not been intimated to office although it is the usual
practice. After conversing with the coordinator Ms. R. Chowdhury
, the inspector came to the
opinion that probably she was was not keeping a close eye on the Home which is
obviously desired of her. The office wants to meet with the teacher &
coordinator & discuss this issue with them asap. . About Academics : ]
